Missouri weather can change on a dime. One day the state is blanketed with oppressive heat and the next you'll need to grab a sweater or hoodie. That appears to be what's about to happen as the National Weather Service says Missouri is about to have what they call 'bonfire weather'. Brace yourself.

I really have no problem with this weather change at all. We're still a few weeks away from the official start of Fall, but the National Weather Service in St. Louis says Missouri is about to get a taste of it. Here's what they're predicting for this upcoming week.

I don't know about you, but this is the best possible weather ever. Reasonably warm and sunny during the daytime then slightly chilly at night is about as good as it gets in Missouri.

I looked at a more detailed NWS forecast and this is what it shows for Hannibal, Missouri for the next few days.

Once again, that's darn near perfect. If I had to guess, we'll see another uptick of warm weather before summer is completely done with us, but one week of a Fall preview or 'bonfire weather' as the National Weather Service in St. Louis, Missouri calls it is fine with me.
