I will admit that I don't like change and that's especially true when I'm used to paying for stuff at a store in a certain way. For one specific payment method, you need to know there are big changes coming to Missouri Walmart stores.

I know this will be a dumpster fire for some people who have relied on buying big ticket items at Walmart without having to pay the full amount up front. Please remember that I am just the messenger and I bruise easily.

What payment method at Missouri Walmart stores is changing?

A press release from Klarna says that they have teamed up with Walmart to offer a payment solution that will replace a previous one. Here are their exact words:

"The agreement will give Walmart’s millions of weekly U.S. shoppers the option of using OnePay to pay for their purchases over time — all to be exclusively powered by Klarna. Walmart U.S. customers and members will have the ability to use OnePay installment loans powered by Klarna on walmart.com and in Walmart stores this year"

Blavity reported that this new partnership with Klarna means you will not be able to use Affirm payment over time plans anymore.

Next time you need to pony up for a big new TV or something you don't have the immediate cash for, this will be your option moving forward and not Affirm.
