This is a disagreement that I predict will not end soon if ever. Who has the best BBQ? Both Missouri and Texas believe they are superior and they are in a heated yet hilarious online argument.

I was alerted to this BBQ "discussion" by the Missouri sub-Reddit. I'm not sure how this barbeque superiority fight started, but look at this.

Man, that's just ignant!

People, people, people...can't we all just get along?

I could make a case for both Missouri and Texas ruling the BBQ universe, but it's ridiculous for the Lone Star State to simply dismiss Missouri especially since we have Kansas City BBQ which is the most famous in the world. Visit KC calls the city the barbeque capital of the world and they're not wrong.

To give credit where credit is due, Texas BBQ is the stuff of legend also. I have plenty of Texas friends who also have chef aprons that are nothing but BBQ bragging.

I think there's a way for both Missouri and Texas to claim their own BBQ crown. Can we agree that Missouri has the best BBQ city with Kansas City while Texas can top anyplace in America for the sheer volume of great BBQ places. There's more than enough room at the top for both Missouri and Texas, people.
