Dashcam Shows Fiery Missouri Blaze as Truckload of Steaks Burns
The good news is it does not appear there were any humans injured, but the bad news is a fiery blaze alongside a Missouri highway resulted in a ton of steaks being burned to a crisp in Phelps County.
I saw this scary scene shared by CDL Life of a dashcam shared by a Missouri fire department. The Doolittle Rural Fire Protection District shared this video on their Facebook page showing a highway fire they were called out to. It was a semi-tractor trailer completely on fire. It was later learned it contained 40,000 pounds of ribeye steaks.
While it's disappointing to see so many valuable steaks go up in smoke, this Missouri highway fire incident was not without a heartwarming silver lining. The fire department said that it was Probationary firefighter Jenna Ulrich’s first fire which she battled with her dad. What a story they'll have to tell about their first blaze they battled together involving more steak than anyone could eat in a lifetime.
