If you live in America, you are free to do just about anything you want within the confines of the law. However, you absolutely cannot travel to 10 specific destinations if you live in Missouri or else.

These are not my words, but travel bulletins issued by the United States government. The US Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs (that's a mouthful to try and say) says if you live in Missouri, do not try to travel to these destinations as they are all on the no-fly list for Americans at this moment.

Some of these do not travel destinations are obvious. Not many would want to fly into the Ukraine right now. North Korea also seems like an obvious "don't go there" idea. It's easy to overlook Belarus which is a Russian ally, though. I also don't think much about Burma, but that's a no-go, too.

No matter where you want to travel, best to check the official US government list before you and your passport try to book a flight. Better safe than very sorry.
