Missouri’s Favorite Ice Cream Has Fans Scratching Their Heads
I love this ice cream flavor, but I rarely like anything that other people like which is why Missouri's new favorite ice cream flavor has many wondering why. Oh, and we need to talk about my birth state's enthusiasm (or lack thereof) for this ice cream, too.
Most people love ice cream, but few can agree on a favorite

There's a very recent study shared by Innerbody about each state's favorite ice cream. They looked at search data to decide what that state's favorite ice cream flavor is. I understand their angle, but I'm not sure if someone in Missouri searching for a specific flavor necessarily makes it the state's favorite, but that's just me nitpicking.
What is Missouri's favorite ice cream flavor based on search?
The study says that strawberry ice cream is Missouri's favorite flavor. I'm a big fan of anything strawberry, but that's doesn't feel accurate. How did strawberry surpass chocolate or vanilla? I suppose you could just have Neapolitan ice cream and get vanilla, chocolate and strawberry together to make it fair.
There's one other ice cream thing that's unusual involving Missouri
The study says that Missouri is one of the 10 states in America whose enthusiasm about ice cream is lacking. That definitely does not sound right. When you look at the numerous ice cream places in Missouri including some true legends like Ted Drewes in the St. Louis area, there's no way Missouri is not psyched about ice cream. Good grief, don't they know the ice cream cone was invented at the World's Fair in St. Louis in 1904? I have a theory. In Missouri, instead of searching online about ice cream, we go outside to find a place with ice cream and eat it. Mystery solved.
