Missouri Place Now Famous for Who They Named Their School After

I love this and I hope you will love this, too. A Missouri place is now famous across the country and it's all due to the fact of who they just named their school after.

I saw this neat story shared on the Missouri sub-Reddit. It's about the previously unnamed elementary school in Swedeborg, Missouri. CBS Sunday Morning shared their decision on TikTok when they wanted to name the school after "someone truly special".

Claudene Wilson is the Swedeborg, Missouri school custodian who also drives buses and the kids and faculty love her. One of the kids said "You can get her a vacuum and she'll appreciate that because she really likes cleaning". Another added "she has really dedicated herself to the school".

Claudene has worked for this Missouri school district for more than 30 years and continues to add on duties as she's needed. Fixing lunch, handling the landscaping around the school, Claudene does it all and now she has her name on the building as decided by the kids, faculty and school board.

What a perfect choice to honor the normally unheralded school custodian who's work is vital, but rarely noticed. Well done, Swedeborg, Missouri. Well done indeed.
