Massive Layoffs Hit Missouri Tech Firm—500+ Jobs Cut
A major tech firm in Missouri has announced a mass layoff in an official notice submitted to the state that will impact more than 500 workers.
The Missouri Jobs site reveals a new mass layoff just announced today by Oracle. The state authorities say that 539 workers have been notified that they are about to be jobless. The WARN notice submitted to the state of Missouri by Oracle explains when the layoffs will begin:
"Oracle is individually notifying all affected employees between March 27, 2026 and March 31, 2026. Affected employees will be separated from their positions between May 26, 2026 and June 1, 2026."
I noticed that there are many on the Kansas City sub-Reddit confirming they were affected by this just-announced layoff.

Oracle stated in their WARN notice to the state of Missouri that the Kansas City campus centrally located at 8779 Hillcrest Road will not be closing. As this is a developing story, it will be updated if new information is released.
