There's a new amusement park resort in Missouri's Lake of the Ozarks that's planning to open in May of 2025 and construction is making progress to make that a reality. The park just revealed a new gravity-defying ride that's sure to be a thriller.

I've been following Oasis at Lake of the Ozarks on social media to keep tabs on how the amusement park construction is going. They just revealed a new ride called "The Plunge" explaining what goes up must come down and it's how you come down that counts.

This huge amusement park is a $400 million dollar effort and will eventually look like this based on concepts once it's complete.

Midwest Construction Journal shared progress on Oasis at Lakeport a month ago and you can see the walls around the park are coming around swimmingly and another huge thrill ride is being worked on also.

The planned opening for phase one is still May of 2025 so we won't have to wait long to see if this new Missouri amusement park will live up to the plans and the hype. I like what I've seen so far, but time will tell the tale.
