Missouri Man Saw Weird Lights Over Tree Line Back-to-Back Nights?
It's not difficult to dismiss strange sky sightings as just an odd one-off occurrence, but what about back-to-back nights? That's what recently happened to a Missouri guy who witnessed a weird light moving over a nearby tree line on concurrent days.
This brand new report submitted to the National UFO Reporting site occurred on March 3, 2025 during the early morning hours around 4:30am near Birch Tree, Missouri. Birch Tree is in southwestern Shannon County in Missouri.
Here are their exact eyewitness testimony:
"So the lights are back again. 2 nights in a row now. I had almost convinced myself that I have super amazing eye sight and what I was seeing must have somehow been satellites. The only problem with that is the movement is not consistent with a satellite and it was cloudy there were not even any stars visible and these lights were below the clouds...What I saw frequently changed course, but it wasn't a zip zoom kind of movement. Saw one would move upward above my tree line but the suddenly shift to the left and so on. Then another would suddenly appear coming down then shift to the right, drop a little more and again shift to the right before dropping below the tree line and out of sight "
I have to wonder about drones. That's the only type of flying object I can think of that can hover like the lights he saw and slowly change course. Here's the kicker, though. Birch Tree, Missouri isn't close to anything. Not Whiteman Air Force Base. Not Fort Leonard Wood. Nothing. There's no reason for drone activity near where he reported the lights.
This is just another Missouri sky mystery of which we have had many recently.
