Mystery Winner of $3 Million from this Tiny Missouri Walmart

Today was an ordinary day for many in Missouri with one very big exception. There's a mystery winner who just walked out of a tiny Missouri Walmart as a $3 million dollar winner.

Does this rather small Walmart store in High Ridge, Missouri look familiar to you?

According to the Missouri Lottery, someone picked up a Mega Millions ticket at this Walmart on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 and they indeed walked out with mega millions. 3 million dollars, to be specific. The Missouri Lottery says these were the winning numbers that person has on their ticket. As of right now, this huge Missouri lottery win is unclaimed.

I don't doubt that this "mystery person" knows they're a winner. My guess is that they're talking to a lawyer, accountant and possibly personal security forces they'll maybe need when their winning ticket is officially claimed. Oh, and they might have fainted when they realized they had a $3 million dollar winning ticket. Hope they didn't injure themselves if the fainting really happened.

The Missouri Lottery says they have 6 months to come forward and claim their massive winnings. Who knows. Maybe they'll be the next person that HGTV helps find a huge mansion with their Missouri Lottery prize. Congrats.
