Let's be clear that C is not a bad grade. However, for 32 Missouri hospitals that have previously been considered excellent for patient safety, a sudden downgrade to a C grade is a big deal.

The new Fall ratings have just been shared recently by Hospital Safety Grade. They use some detailed metrics to determine which Missouri hospitals do a good job for patient safety compared to others. It's important to note that safety in this case deals with how hospitals protect patients from infections and incidents before and after surgery.

If anyone knows that C is a decent grade, it would be someone like me who rumor has it got part of his name wrong on his ACT test.

Whatever you do, don't make any serious decisions about who you trust with your health care in Missouri based on one new internet ranking. This is just meant as a starting point for educating yourself about what hospitals do a good job. I would have no hesitation having any of the C grade Missouri hospitals take care of me and my family.
