Missouri has something new to brag about. Along with being the home of the Gateway Arch, Lake of the Ozarks and Silver Dollar City, the Show Me State can now accurately say it has one of the 10 most impressive Walmart stores in the world.

I saw this brand new roundup of what 24/7 Wall St says are the 10 most impressive Walmart stores in the world. You'll see locations in their list from Mexico City and China and...Missouri. Yes, Missouri. 

Which Walmart in Missouri is among the 10 most impressive in the world?

It's the Walmart at 100 Commercial Drive in Pineville, Missouri. Geographically, you can understand why Walmart would choose this location as one of its best as it's in extreme southwestern Missouri just a few miles from the headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.

What makes this Missouri Walmart store so special? It has one of Walmart's most recent design upgrades not just on the outside of the store, but inside, too. The report also says that Walmart uses this Pineville, Missouri location as a testing ground for new designs and programs to see if they're effective before deploying them around the country.

One interesting thing about the Pineville, Missouri Walmart store is it's a glimpse into the future of big box retail. Who would have thought that little ole Missouri would be home to one of the most impressive and futuristic Walmart stores?
