54 Missouri Gas Stations are Getting a ‘Safer’ New Name in March
You're about to see a big change on some gas station signs in Missouri and you'll start seeing those changes in March as 54 locations are getting a new "safer" name.
This is a change that has been in the making for quite some time as a very popular gas station chain is getting a makeover. KSDK in St. Louis is reporting that starting in March 54 Kum & Go stations in Missouri will get a new name.
What will Missouri Kum & Go stations be called starting in March?
The reports say they will have new signs with the name Maverik - Adventure's First Stop.
According to the Kum & Go website, these are the Missouri places with their stations at this time:
- Aurora
- Bethany
- Bolivar
- Fair Grove
- Hollister
- Joplin
- Lebanon
- Mount Vernon
- Neosho
- Nixa
- Ozark
- Republic
- Rogersville
- Sarcoxie
- Springfield
- St Robert
- Waynesville
There are a staggering 33 gas stations for this brand in the Springfield, Missouri area alone.
Just know that if you see sign crews taking the current signs down and putting the new ones in place, this is why. It's a rebrand of a gas station brand you see all around Missouri that will now have an emphasis on adventure.
