I will raise my hand of being guilty for storing things I probably shouldn't in my garage. That's why I'm paying attention to a warning for Missouri homeowners of 9 items that are especially dangerous that should be removed out of a garage area as soon as possible.

I will not share a picture of my garage as it is shameful. Other than a place to park my car, it's where all of the discarded items go before they're able to be thrown away. There's a brand new warning for all Missouri homeowners from Today's Homeowner of 9 items that are especially problematic.

I will admit that I was aware of the more obvious flammable things like gas cans and propane tanks. I had never really thought much about pet food and books attracting rodents, though. Causing a worse mold and mildew problem with those items was also something I had not considered. Better safe than sorry.
