This might be one of the ultimate quick Missouri day trips for nostalgic pizza lovers. There exists a Pizza Hut museum that is just a hop, skip and a jump from Missouri that's an easy day trip.

This nostalgic Pizza Hut Museum is a part of Wichita State University. Many of the students are storytellers here.

The cool thing is you can visit The Original Pizza Hut Museum between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday and you can also request a visit outside of those weekday hours.

If you decide to make that part of Kansas a day trip (and love pizza history), you could do worse than make this place a stop on your itinerary. It's only a few hours on the other side of Kansas City.
