Missouri’s Ritziest City – All Homes More Than $2 Million Bucks
If you aspire to live in one certain Missouri city, you better have deep pockets. It's the only place in the state where the average home value tops more than $2 million dollars.
I'm not even a little bit surprised that the new ranking of the cities in Missouri with the most expensive homes by Stacker features one place at the top - again. It is considered ritzy even among the rich and famous neighborhoods that are near it. This is an "average" home there.
This is Huntleigh, Missouri where the average home price is a cool $2,166,279. The official city site says it's "Nestled between Ladue, Frontenac and Kirkwood". Likely nestled with cashmere".
To give you an idea of how affluent Huntleigh, Missouri is, Ladue comes in at #2 among Missouri cities with the most expensive homes and the average place there is valued at $1,176,985. What a disparity between #1 and #2 in Missouri.
Here's something else to think about. According to the numbers shared in the ranking, the home values in Huntleigh have gone up 40% in just the past 5 years. The rich indeed to get richer.
I have to wonder if we'll eventually see the Loch Lloyd neighborhood in the Kansas City area approach the values of the older St. Louis places like Huntleigh now that Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce live there.
