According to the FBI in St. Louis, Missouri, there are 10 individuals who were allegedly involved in a Fast and the Furious style heist of 30 vehicles in both Missouri and Illinois.

The FBI in St. Louis just shared this update about a massive vehicle theft ring which has been active in both Missouri and Illinois recently. There are now 10 who have been indicted in one of the more elaborate car theft schemes in recent memory.

The press release just shared by the FBI in St. Louis says this group of 10 called themselves the "Strikers". The suspects allegedly burglarized 20 different dealerships resulting in 30 different vehicle thefts totaling more than $3 million dollars. The thefts weren't just in the St. Louis area either. Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois locations were impacted as well.

“As alleged, the Strikers stole approximately 50 vehicles and caused nearly $3 million in loss while engaging in violent and dangerous mayhem across Missouri and Illinois,” said Matthew Galeotti, Head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division. “This lawless behavior will not be tolerated. The Department of Justice is committed to working with our federal, state, and local partners to ensure the public’s safety.”

  • Markaveon Jackson, 19
  • Raynell Moore, 22
  • Lavatrice McCully-Collins, 24
  • Peontay Roddy, 21
  • Noah Hornburg, 23

Racketeering conspiracy, carjacking, robbery and various firearm charges are a part of the charges these individuals face. The FBI emphasizes that all are considered innocent until proven guilty. The arrests are part of an ongoing effort by the FBI in St. Louis to shut down violent crime syndicates on both sides of the river.
