A few days ago, a press release was shared that said Ferguson Brewing Company will be closing in December, but another door will open literally with Good News Brewing taking over.

Good News Brewing Ferguson says it will open this coming winter operated by Rodney Fickas, founder of Soulcraft, a local nonprofit makerspace also based in Ferguson. “Good News Brewing shares our belief that gathering matters,” said Rodney Fickas, owner of Good News Brewing Ferguson, along with his wife, Julie. “Ferguson Brewing laid a foundation as a welcoming local spot. We want to build on that—creating a place where the community feels at home, where stories and good news are shared.” It's always sad to see any kind of business close, but in this case the doors will be open again not long after they close. Let's hope this new chapter for the Ferguson community is a good one.
