When is naughty really nice? There are probably multiple answers to that question, but it definitely applies to a shop just named the best ice cream in Missouri because they are famous for being naughty - in a good way.

What makes a great ice cream?

Yes, great taste is vital, but texture is important, too. There's a new ranking from Cheapism that adds another crucial element to great ice cream - naughtiness. They just named the best ice cream shops in Missouri and their choice is Clementine's Ice Cream with multiple locations across Missouri including the central west end of St. Louis, Clayton, Kansas City, Kirkwood, Lake St. Louis, just to name a few. What's naughty about Clementine's ice cream? They are famous for "boozy" flavors including maple bourbon with salted candied pecans.

Their menu offers several flavors including:

• Watermelon

This is one Missouri ice cream shop that's growing as their site says there will be a Columbia location soon. Hopefully it's open in time for the return of Mizzou students for the Fall semester. I lived in Columbia for a while back in the mid-1980's and I have no doubt that is one college town that will fully embrace what Clementine's has to offer.

Missouri is famous for having great ice cream and custard brands (looking at you, Ted Drewes). There is no such thing as too much great ice cream and Missouri has it in abundance.
