Are you worn out yet with the almost constant parade of severe storms that have crossed Missouri over the past few weeks? It's time to prepare yourself again as forecasters are now warning Missouri again about a severe storm risk next week.

This official advisory was just issued by the meteorologists at the NOAA Storm Prediction Center. This is what Monday, April 28, 2025 looks like according to what they're seeing on computer models. I need to say it's unusual for them to issue an advisory this many days out.

What is the reason for an advisory about a storm risk this many days from now?

The NOAA Storm Prediction Center is not the only group seeing this developing storm risk. Travis Roberts also noticed what appears to have a trough developing late this weekend into early next week.

This is the low pressure system that looks like it will be impacting Missouri and the Midwest yet again.

Ryan Hall is also onboard with concern about storms hitting Missouri and the Midwest early next week.

We're still too far out to know for sure exactly how strong this storm system will be, but the fact that the forecasters at the NOAA Storm Prediction Center are already eyeing this weather is something to be concerned about. Make sure you're weather aware (again) early next week no matter where you live in Missouri.
