I saw Nation's Restaurant News share the word that the McRib is coming back to Illinois McDonalds locations beginning December 3. But, there's something more interesting happening than the return of the McRib. For one day only on Monday, November 25, you can buy a half-gallon jug of McRib sauce for $19.99 through the Whole Lotta McRib Sauce website.

There are many of us old enough to remember when the McRib was first introduced in 1981. It has become a cult classic favorite yet few understand the reason why. That's why when I saw the McRib was coming back for a short time in December, I knew there would be excitement for the crowd that adores those sandwiches. The fact that a jug of the sauce on the McRib is now possible to attain takes that to the next level.
