According to the Illinois Lottery, someone picked up a Mega Millions ticket on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 which has turned into a $3 million dollar winner. What's the problem? Well, the Illinois Lottery Unclaimed Prizes page says no one has claimed it - yet. It's very possible that the person with the winning Mega Millions ticket does know, but is taking their sweet time lining up lawyers, accountants and personal security before their identity is revealed or they may just have no clue at all that life-changing paper is sitting in the floorboard of their vehicle.
