The Quincy Veterans Day Parade will once again march down Maine Street in Quincy on Saturday, November 5th. The parade will start sharply at 10 am at the corner of 12th and Maine and go west down Maine street all the way to 5th and Maine. On the parade's official Facebook event page they say this is an opportunity for you to come out and honor local veterans and their families.

There are a bunch of participants in this year's Veterans Day Parade including the local Toys for Tots, on their Facebook event page for the parade they say...

"Join us to honor our Veterans in the annual parade! This is our first community toy collection of the season so bring your new, unwrapped toy donations and we will be collecting them along the route along with Santa and a Marine or 2."

We here at Townsquare media Quincy/Hannibal are so thankful for community events like the Veterans Day Parade to give us all an opportunity to say thanks, and show our appreciation to the men and woman (and their families) who have served this country. We live in the land of the free because of the brave. So get your family and friends down to Maine street in downtown Quincy this Saturday to show the veterans of our area how much we support and honor them!
