It began when Mike decided he needed to pick up some hot dogs from the store. He also picked up a lottery ticket as an afterthought. That small decision led to him and his wife being helped by HGTV to find their dream vacation home in the Missouri Ozarks after he won $250,000.

David Bromstad is the host of My Lottery Dream Home on HGTV. Mike and Lori are originally from Iowa, but they always wanted a vacation home in the Lake of the Ozarks part of Missouri.
