It will be a busy week for the Dorothy Quincy Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.). The Dorothy Chapter of the D.A.R. would like to remind all citizens that beginning today and running this week through September 23 we commemorate the 232nd anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States by the Constitutional Convention.

The D.A.R. Dorothy Chapter encourages citizens to reaffirm the ideals the framers of the Constitution had in 1787 by vigilantly protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us through this guardian of our liberties.  They also remind everyone that lost rights may never be regained.

A display celebrating this event has been set up at John Wood Community College and is available for viewing during Constitutional Week which again is today through next Monday. The public is invited to see the display and there is no charge for the viewing.
