Local Commercial Star to Appear On National TV

You may have heard her on the radio voicing Tom Boland Ford commercials, but you can now watch her on national television.

Tonight, ABC is air their mini-series "When We Rise," and you might see a familiar face in an upcoming episode. Lydia Boland, a native of Hannibal, will be in the ABC series playing the daughter of a lesbian couple. The series follows the real-life battles of men and women in the LGBT community. It will feature some big names including, Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker, Rachel Griffiths, Michael K. Williams and many more.

This is not Lydia's first role, she has a  re-occurring role on Nickelodeon. Watch "When We Rise," tonight on ABC starting with a 2-hour premiere at 8pm. According to imdb.com, Lydia is featured in episode 1.5 which is set to debut on March 1 (but you might as well watch the series premier tonight so you're not lost on Wednesday).
