Moment of Impact – Train Slams Car Stuck on Tracks in Illinois

It's a miracle that no one was injured. A bystander captured video of a violent collision as a train clobbered a car stuck on the tracks in Illinois just a few days ago.

According to the video description, this insane collision happened the night of November 9 in downtown Lemont, Illinois.

NOTE: there is plenty of NSFW language on this video as the man knew the train car impact was imminent.

The website Patch added some more backstory to this collision. They report that it happened at 8:30pm the night of November 9 and there were two people in the car, but they escaped prior to the collision and were not injured.

The driver apparently tried to turn onto a road, but ended up on the tracks instead and became stuck. It's at that point they knew they had to exit the vehicle to save their lives. Fortunately, they did just in the nick of time.
