More Than 100 Missouri Animals Rescued From Horrific Conditions
This is one of the most terrible sights you'll ever see if you love animals. A task force has just rescued more than 100 animals from horrific conditions and that number is growing as the rescue is ongoing as we speak.
The Humane Society of Missouri just shared this update on a rescue they're working on right now in Lawrence County, Missouri
In case you can't see the details they shared on your device, here's what they discovered at this Lawrence County, Missouri home:
"Our Animal Cruelty Task Force is on the ground in Lawrence County, Missouri, working alongside local authorities to rescue more than 100 animals — including dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens — from a property where they were found living in heartbreaking conditions.
Animals are being found in small wire cages and among large piles of trash, overgrown vegetation and dilapidated vehicles, with limited access to clean water. Our teams are working quickly to remove them and get them to safety.
The animals will be transported to our shelters where they will receive emergency veterinary care. The rescue is ongoing, and the total number of animals recovered is not yet known. We’ll share updates as this critical rescue continues."
As this is a developing story, it will be updated once final numbers and conditions of the animals are known.
