KC BBQ Little Miss & Mr. and Baby Contest Registration Underway

Summer's last day this year is September 22. Most people around the country consider Labor Day as the "end of summer", but not Quincy. It ends with the K of C BBQ which will be held this weekend in Quincy at the Knights of Columbus grounds on South 36th Street. This year's event seems early, but then school is starting earlier than normal this year as well. One of the events at this year's K of C BBQ is the Little Miss & Mr. K of C BBQ and Baby Contest. This event will be held at 6 p.m. this Thursday, the first night of this year's event. This year's theme is the Fabulous 50's with the costume theme being the 50's.

The Baby Contest if for babies up to 35 months with a fee to enter of $15.  The Little Miss & Mr. contest is for youngsters ages 3 to 6 with an entry fee of $25.
