1 of America’s Top 10 Sports Bars is on a Missouri Street Corner

What are your priorities when/if you're looking for a good sports bar? There's a new ranking which says one of the top 10 in America is located on an innocent-looking street corner in Missouri.

There are a lot of different qualities that a sports bar needs to be entertaining. They have to have lots of screens so virtually every meaningful sporting event can be watched, plus there needs to be a decent variety of food at reasonable prices. The blog Cheapism just ranked the top sports bars in America and one of their top 10 is in Missouri.

Their rankings factored in their Google reviews, the cheapest beer price and how much a decent hamburger would cost you. With those numbers crunched, they say that Social at 7425 Broadway in Kansas City, Missouri is one of the best sports bars in America. You should have been there Super Bowl Sunday.

If you check out Yelp reviews of Social, you'll see the word "amazing" used a lot. I saw one person who had their birthday party there that thought the staff was epic.

For the record, Tower Tavern in Kansas City, Missouri also was ranked in the top 20 coming in at #18. Quite an achievement for one Missouri city to score two top 20 best sports bar rankings.
