The US Marshals have a way of finding you no matter where you run. That just happened to an attempted murder suspect wanted from Ohio who was located hiding in Madison, Wisconsin.

The US Marshals announced in a press release that they've arrested fugitive Derrick Faison. He allegedly stabbed a victim in Columbus, Ohio on August 17 and had been on the run ever since. The US Marshals learned he had fled the state of Ohio and was believed to be in Madison, Wisconsin which proved to be true. He was found in the vicinity of the 2000 block of Fish Hatchery Road in Madison, Wisconsin which is approximately here.

Our investigators can quickly coordinate with our teams across the U.S. to bring violent suspects to justice.” - Michael D. Black, United States Marshal.

The arrest of Derrick Faison was apparently an effort by a special team of US Marshals known as SOFAST which is a fugitive-focused, U.S. Marshals Service-led task force consisting of local, state and federal authorities.

This Madison, Wisconsin arrest by the US Marshals is another example of how helpful it can be when citizens submit anonymous tips when they have information about the whereabouts of those wanted to face justice.
