FedEx announced previously that they were working on streamlining services for efficiency. A plan called FedEx network 2.0. Today that means that the FedEx shipping Center at 3904 Commercial Drive is closing for good June 28th, 2025.

There have been a handful of FedEx locations in Illinois that have closed already this year in Springfield, Effingham and Urbana. If you regularly utilize FedEx in Quincy you may have received an email notifying you of the impending closure, and giving alternate FedEx options.

There will still be several drop off locations in Quincy, including Walgreens and the Dollar General store on north 12th street in Quincy. Also, a handful of dropbox locations including the Quincy Public Library and the Adams County Courthouse among others will still be available.
