These are the best places to grab a milkshake and a burger in Missouri.

When I walk into a classic "old-fashioned" diner, it's the atmosphere for me. It takes you back to when car hops and jukeboxes. to checked floors, and red booths. They are time capsules, and some still are in operation today.

Best Diners in Missouri

The Broadway Diner in Columbia always tops the list of the best diners in the state (and the nation). This place is a favorite among MIZZOU students and is open 24 hours to help with those late-night study groups.

If you find yourself here get the signature "Strech" plate - a dish of hash browns, eggs, bacon, and chili.

Another short drive from the Tri-States to visit is the Crown Candy Kitchen in St. Louis. Its retro setting has a soda fountain, and enjoy some of the diner's favorites including homemade chocolates & a classic American lunch & dinner menu.

Let's not forget our very own Becky Thatcher's Diner. In my opinion, the best for breakfast all day long. So, if you're craving eggs, bacon, and toast at Noon well that can serve it up for you.
