Hannibal-LaGrange University’s spring lecture series hits a crescendo Thursday evening (March 13) when neurosurgeon and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Dr. Ben Carson speaks at 7p at the Mabee Sports Complex on campus.

As a neurosurgeon, Carson was the first to separate conjoined twins attached at the back of the head. Following retirement from the medical field Carson found himself in the spotlight espousing conservative principles, ultimately running for President of the United States in 2016 and accepting a position in Donald Trump’s first term cabinet.
