Being from Chicago means my love for celebrating St. Patrick's Day is extremely high! St. Patrick's Day celebrations in 2020 were the first major things canceled at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, we had to cancel ours here locally in Quincy, and the world just hasn't seemed right since that time. But here we are two years later and getting back to being able to celebrate a holiday with parades, bars open, and festivals, as we have in years past, feels pretty good!
