See What Remains Inside of the Abandoned Galesburg, Illinois Mall

It's really hard to believe this once popular Galesburg, Illinois mall has only been closed for 6 years based on how much nature has reclaimed that space. Thanks to some urban explorers, you can see what little remains inside of time machine to what shopping in the 1980's was like.

Kudos to the Free4All YouTube channel who managed to gain access to the old Sandburg Mall in Galesburg, Illinois. Wikipedia says this place opened way back in 1975 and managed to stay open until 2018.

I'm both taken by how much decay has already overwhelmed this massive shopping place in Galesburg, but also surprised by some of the stuff that remains intact.

WGIL reported that this property was planned to become a veteran's clinic, but I have yet to see any updates on whether that will become a reality or not.
