Illinois Ranks in Top 10 For Being The Worst State For Winter
Spring, summer, and fall can be beautiful in Illinois, but when it comes to winter we all know that season is just the worst.

Thrillist put together a list of every state and how miserable winters can be in each state and it's no surprise that Illinois ranks in the top 10. Illinois can be infamous for frigid winters, and the more north you travel the worse it can get. For the last few years here in west central Illinois we have been dealing with bitterly cold temps and a few significant snowfalls, but the temps are some of the worse. However, it doesn't keep Illinois residents down. Thrillest says.
the people there have the kind of warm and generous spirit that leads to displays of solidarity like fighting over whether or not a pair of plastic lawn chairs constitutes indefinite rights to a shoveled-out parking place post-snowfall.
I've never been to upstate Illinois in the winter and to be honest, don't plan on going anytime soon. I am more afraid of the icicles falling off buildings and knocking me out than the cold temperatures I am not a fan of cold anything, but I would put that all aside and suck it up to enjoy ice skating in Wrigley Field and doing a little Christmas shopping. Maybe I should invest in one of the warming jackets.
