
Human Trafficking Bust in Illinois Nets 4 Suspects
All I can say is it's about time. Police in Illinois are turning up the heat on suspected human traffickers and a new sting has resulted in 4 being arrested and charged.
The Public Information Office of the Illinois State Police just shared a press release detailing what they just completed in the Geneseo area. These 4 individuals were arrested and charged during this operation in Henry County, Illinois:
- Ryan J. Molln (47) of Walnut, IL – two counts of Indecent Solicitation of a Child (Class 2
Felony), two counts of Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony), two counts of
Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony), and Grooming (Class 4 Felony) - Juan C. Soto-Deanda (31) of East Moline, IL – Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony)
and Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony). - Marqueis L. Lewis Sr. (45) of Davenport, IA – Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony)
and Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony). - Adrian Amezola (43) of Sterling, IL – Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony),
Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony), Sexual Exploitation of a Child (Class A
Misdemeanor)
This new sting was part of a huge coordinated effort between ISP Special Agents, ISP SWAT, ISP Analysts, ISP Intelligence Support Unit, Blackhawk Area Task Force, and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. They also request the public's help in the ongoing fight to stop this terrible human tragedy.
