Illinois 20 Friendliest Places to Live in 2025 Includes Surprises

The nicest thing that can be said about your town is that it's a friendly place to live in. That's the story for 20 Illinois places although this new ranking does includes some locations that will surprise some people.

I'm not going to specify which of these 20 Illinois towns just named by Next Door as the friendliest places to live in the state for 2025 are surprises. That wouldn't be neighborly. Plus, if I say "wow, I can't believe (insert your Illinois town here) was just named a friendly place!", then I'm gonna have that town grilling me about why I don't think they're nice (although I'm sure they'd do it in a polite manner).

Kevin from Home Alone would be so proud that (despite his pranks on Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), Winnetka, Illinois is the friendliest place in Illinois for 2025. Congrats to all of these Illinois towns for getting one of the nicest compliments a place can get.
