The Illinois Department of Public Health announced that dentist can reopen for routine check ups with some guidelines they must follow.

When then pandemic hit lots of vacations, daily life, and doctor appointments were put on hold. I have to reschedule a few appointments including my dentist appointment, but there's good news. According to the IDPH website, Dentist can reopen for "routine oral and dental care."

"IDPH has carefully monitored the daily number of newly reported COVID-19 cases. If the trend continues as anticipated, certain models indicate there will likely be a decrease in the burden of COVID-19 illness in Illinois towards the end of May 2020. With that in mind, there is a need for a plan to resume safe and routine oral and dental treatment," reads IDPH's website.

Looks like I am going to see mt dentists sooner than I thought. Dental officers can reopen as soon as they want.
