If you're familiar with that part of the state, you know that Clarendon Hills is just down the road from Downers Grove and is in the heart of the Windy City. I noticed something else in the Niche rankings and that's the fact that not only is Clarendon Hills a top 5 place to live, they rank it as the #1 suburb in all of America.

The ranking praises this small suburb for most of the residents owning their homes with ample restaurants, coffee places and a plethora of parks. This community of just over 8,000 residents also are rated highly for safety with a low crime rate. The local school options are also elite.
