If you missed it last week I wrote about the fact that Quincy officially has a coloring book, it's by Robert Turek, and you can read all about it by clicking here!

You can purchase the book on Amazon right now for only $9.99, check it out for yourself, and purchase one by clicking here!

I bought one for myself (as a keepsake, I am a 31-year-old man who has never had an artistic coloring bone in his body, so I won't be coloring it but instead display it in my office at work as a fun collector piece of Quincy history) and it came in the mail just a couple of days ago and I am so glad I purchased it, here are three reasons why I think you should by one for yourself too!

1. If you are like me and think funky things like this about our small town are cool collector's items then this is a must-have, the town will constantly change over the next 50 years (heck it has changed a lot in the less than 3 years I have lived here) and so having something like this to look back on is fun.

2. If you have kids how cool would it be to buy each kid one of these and then on a nice day go out to each place on the book like the Villa Katherine, bring some crayons, markers, and colored pencils, and let them either recreate what they see or let their imaginations run wild! That would be a cool family activity.

3. All the facts and trivia in the book, I don't want to spoil too much of it but I have learned a ton about the town I now call home from reading a coloring book...how cool is that?!?
