We've lost another legend as we learned today that wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan has left us. Memories of him include a flashback to a huge party he had in Missouri just one year ago.

If you aren't aware already, Hulk Hogan passed away today at the age of 71. I was immediately reminded of the memory when Hulk Hogan was spotted in Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri having a big party almost exactly one year ago in July of 2024. The party was at Shady Gators at Lake of the Ozarks and TMZ (of course) captured video of Hulk living large as usual.

As the story goes last July, Hulk arrived at approximately 8:30pm and ended up signing autographs and sampling his own signature beer while also downing a sufficiently large amount of nachos. Hulk Hogan was never one to do things in small ways. As I recall that was Hulk's chosen party destination after he appeared at the Republican national convention last summer. I will confess that I have never been much of a wrestling fan, but I was always aware of Hulk Hogan as his personality was larger than just his presence in the WWE. He was a pop culture icon of the 1980's and will never be forgotten.
