You can blame this one on WalletHub. They just released their most "sinful" states for 2023 using many factors that are based on the 7 deadly sins...anger & hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.
Using these metrics, how does Missouri rate? Meh.
You might recall that we recently shared the news that Illinois was rated way more evil than Missouri coming in as the 7th most "sinful" state in America. Blaming this on you, Chicago.
This might sound wrong, but that's never stopped me before. I believe the fact that Missouri didn't rank higher is the WalletHub people have never been to Lake of the Ozarks in the summer. C'mon. You won't find more debauchery in America than the Lake of the Ozarks during the summer months. Go there on a vacation, then come back and redo this survey and rank Missouri at the top where it belongs.
As it stands now? Like I said - meh. Now, back to watching Austin Powers.
