How To Make A Candy Slide for Trick-or-Treating
The Coronavirus has taken so much from us this year, concerts, vacations, parties, events, I am really hoping that Halloween is not next.
My kids can't wait for Halloween, to get dressed up and trick-or-treat. However, Halloween, like everything else this year, will look a little different. Well, one couple came up with a way for kids to enjoy Trick-or-Treating and maintain social distancing.
With this new candy slide, Halloween will NOT be canceled. The candy slide is a way for children to enjoy the fun of Halloween and maintain the recommended six feet from each other. I mean the whole point of Halloween is the candy, and if you are not allowed to grab any then what’s the point?
This DIY project seems simple. all you need is a variety of PVC pipe and connectors, and some paint and items to decorate it. Seriously. That’s it. If you would like to have children stop by at a safe distance, you might want to start thinking about making the candy slide. In the video, you will see a step-by-step way on how to make one.
This DIY project seems simple enough and you get a cool yard decoration each year. I am always up for a good DIY project, although, mine always seems to start out great and ends up looking like something completely different. But hey, I'm up for a challenge.
