Happy Hour Drinks At Quincy’s Dunkin Are No Longer $1

Well it was fun while it lasted.

Quincy’s Dunkin Donuts...sorry..."Dunkin" became pretty popular for their daily “Happy Hour” promotion in which all iced coffees and teas were just a buck plus tax.

The good news is Happy Hour isn’t going anywhere. The bad news is that like everything over time, the price is going up. Fifty cents actually according to a few signs hanging around the building as of this morning.

Now is $1.50 for an iced coffee still a pretty good deal? You bet it is. Is it going to stop me from downing a few of those a week on my way home from work? Probably not. Is this going to do anything to hinder my caffeine addiction? NO FREAKING WAY! COFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEE!!

One dollar specials are all too often too good to last. Remember one dollar Waffle Cone Wednesdays at TCBY? That place got crazy. Heck, remember the original Dollar Menu at McDonald's? Probably wouldn't have made it through college without that one.

Nothing else surrounding Dunkin’s Happy Hour seems to be changing. Still goes from 3:00 to 6:00 throughout the week and no additional purchase is necessary.
