Hannibal Cannibal to Force Closure of Highway 79

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced a road closure due to the Hannibal Cannibal this Saturday morning in Hannibal. To ensure the safety of  nearly 2000 participants in the Hannibal Cannibal run/walk, Missouri 79 between Broadway Street in Hannibal and Continental Cement, south of Hannibal will temporarily close to traffic between 6 a.m. and approximately 9 a.m. this Saturday, July 1.

Motorists are being asked to find alternate routes during this time.
