Hidden in the Woods: See This Airbnb Near Hannibal, Missouri

Thanks to the popularity of Hannibal and its tourism, nice places to stay in the area are valued especially during the summer months. There's a new Airbnb that's hidden in the woods around 7 miles from Hannibal that is a real stunner.

Thank you to Christina Link for allowing me to share pictures and details of her and her husband's Chippewa Cottage Retreat on Airbnb. It's a 3-bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cottage that can accommodate up to 6 people. Here's why she said they decided to turn this into an Airbnb:

"We own several properties, and Stuart has been in construction for many years, so the cottage really started as just another building project. But as it came together, we found ourselves adding more custom touches and unique features that reflected our own tastes and the places we love to visit. My husband and I enjoy traveling, especially out West in Wyoming and around Idaho and throughout the building process we kept saying, "If we ever had a home out there, this is what we'd want it to look like." What started as a construction project gradually became something much more personal. When it was finished, we realized we had created a place that felt special—not just for us, but for family, friends, and others looking for a peaceful getaway. That's what led us to open Chippewa Cottage Retreat as an Airbnb and share it with others."
