Free Panera Bagels This Weekend For Vaccinated Customers

I could eat an everything bagel with honey walnut cream cheese every day, so when I heard I could get a free one I was one happy camper.

Panera Bread announced earlier this week that from July 2 through July 4 any customer who is fully vaccinated can receive a free Panera bangle of their choice (spreads are not included). This is in support of the White House's effort to get every American vaccinated.

“During the past year, we have focused on uniting and serving our entire Panera family; our guests, associates. and communities. Today, we are proud to continue our work through support of the “We Can Do This” campaign,” said Niren Chaudhary, CEO, Panera Bread. “We have come through one of our nation’s greatest crises by supporting one another, and now, together, we can all take a simple act that will help our communities overcome this pandemic.”

If you happen to be travelling this holiday weekend, or know someone who is you might want to let them know to stop by and grab a free bagel. This will be on a honor system, you will not need to show proof (with your vaccination card) that are you vaccinated. Panera is not the only restaurant that are rewarding vaccinated customers, Taco Bell and McDonald's also have offers for vaccinated individuals.

This could be the start of other major chains helping to get everyone vaccinated by offering free food, drinks, and some sort of free item at the establishment. Those who are vaccinated might need to go on a diet with all this free food that will be offered to us.
